Visitors Book and reviews on the Villa Salvatore Marie Galante rental

Thank you for building this beautiful villa, Estelle and Chris, where we spend 10 superb days in January 14. The villa is built to perfection, every detail is well thought through, we were specially pleased with the kitchen. We sometimes cooked or grilled fish – there is also a very good grill. You can buy fish at the harbour directly from the fishermen (unless the sea is too rough).
The architecture of the house, the furniture and interior design is so nice and personal.
We never needed the aircon. The garden is beautifully designed, even some bananas were ripe at the time.
Sitting on the terrace with the view onto the sea, swimming in the pool, which is good for two to swim, is wonderful.
A special thank you to Florence who looked after us so well and introduced us also to Marie-Claire, who cooks delicious food, very recommendable, if you do not want to cook yourself and stay in the villa.
Florence welcomed us at the harbor, had a meal and full fridge prepared and gave us very good hints, e.g. about a Jazz concert, where to buy the wonderful honey vinegar, where to buy what – any question one has – she will help. Thank you again, Florence!
The island has a calmness that we loved, nice beaches, we visited the rum distilleries and still enjoy the Père Labat rum.
The only negative was that we had to leave after 10 days. Next time we would love to stay longer.
